My Ankarsrum mixer has a fault — what should I do?

BakeryBits is the official Ankarsrum repair centre for the UK and Ireland, so you have come to the right place.

To help us assess the issue, please contact us with as much detail as possible.

What information do we need?

Please send us:

  • a clear description of the fault;
  • one or two photos, if appropriate;
  • a short video showing the issue, if that would help;
  • a photo of the data plate on the mixer;
  • when and where you bought the mixer, if you know;
  • your full collection address;
  • some weekdays when a courier collection would be convenient.

What happens next?

Once we receive the details, we may ask a few follow-up questions.

If it looks as though the machine itself has a fault, we will ask you to securely pack the mixer ready for courier collection.

Please make sure the machine is clean before packing it (we may refuse to repair it otherwise).

Unless we ask otherwise, we only need:

  • the base mixer;
  • the power cord.

Please do not include the bowl, roller, scraper, dough hook, beaters or other attachments unless we specifically ask for them.

What happens when it reaches us?

When the mixer arrives with us, we will assess it.

If the repair is covered under warranty, we will carry out the repair. If it is not covered under warranty, we will let you know the likely cost before proceeding.

Repairs usually only take a couple of days once the mixer is with us.

When the repair is complete, we will confirm this and arrange to return the mixer to you.
